I love those type of friends where you’re so comfortable around each other that you can dress whatever and do or say anything without having a care in the world. I love the fact that you can call each other names or tease each other, you can laugh at them when they fall and they can laugh at you right back. They understand you and they understand your humor, because theirs is just as yours. Those endless laughs with your best friend. Don’t you just love those? Where you’re sitting with your her and then one comment can lead to the both of you laughing hysterically, even if it might not be funny to others. Regardless of how stupid the joke or statement is, you guys try to stop. Yet that leads you guys to laugh even more. Then when you finally get over it and calm down, you look at each other and start laughing all over again, dosing each other with the cheapest but healthiest, most beautiful medicine; laughter.
This is what they are… the most comfortable but crazy and fun people that I just love being with. Yeah, those are the types of friends I don’t ever want to lose.
Yes, I can be selfish, impatient, and insecure. I make mistakes, I can get out of control and at times hard to handle. I have my moments in life where I can be at my baddest. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best. They take me for both without a doubt, and that is just another reason to love them. They never leave whenever things get rough or when tears may occur. They stay and fight for you, because they know that such little thing shouldn’t ruin an entire, beautiful friendship.
Best friends are definitely what I have. For a fact some people misuse the word, without knowing the true definition of it or how important it is to have someone them. A best friend is someone you can trust with your life. Someone who has seen the best and worst of you and still loves you just as much. It’s someone who will always be there whenever you need someone to talk to. There is a balance in the relationship between give and take and you know each others limits and even the little things about each other. You feel so in sync with them that you can comfortably share your innermost feelings and thoughts. I’ve always been able to do that, because I’ve truly got the best friends in the world. I never feel like I get the chance to be grateful towards them, but I truly am. Because without them I would’ve been a wreck. And to me, I don’t care if they are many or not. These are my closest, deepest, most honest, beautiful, caring, trustworthy friends and I wouldn’t give them up for all of my other friends I have. ‘Cause when it comes to friends, it’s the quality and never the quantity that matters. Having a lot of friends is nothing if you can’t even trust or rely on them. It’s better if you have fewer friends and knowing that at the end of the day, they’re always beside you, ready to do anything just for you, even when you’re at your worst. Those are the friends that matter to me and that I’d never bare to lose. That’s why I am truly grateful to be in possession of these 3 people. Knowing that whenever I need an advice, a hug, a trustworthy person, a shoulder to cry on or simply someone who would actually genuinely care and listen to my problems; I have them. And I’d never, ever in my life let them down or give personalities and hearts like these up.
Yes, I am fucking deep, they fucking know and they fucking accept me for who I am.
